3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Auto-Publisher platform
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Process article generation requests using your selected AI provider
• Publish articles to your connected WordPress sites on your behalf
• Monitor and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the platform
• Respond to your support requests and communications
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content for AI training purposes.

4. API Keys & Third-Party Services

You may provide API keys for third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, xAI Grok, Google Gemini). These keys are:

• Encrypted using AES-256-CBC before being stored in our database
• Only decrypted server-side at the moment of making an API request on your behalf
• Never logged, cached in plaintext, or transmitted insecurely
• Never shared with other users or third parties other than the respective AI provider

When you use these services, you are also subject to the privacy policies of those providers. We encourage you to review them separately.

5. WordPress Site Data

When you connect a WordPress site, we store the site URL and an authentication token. We use these only to publish articles and fetch category data on your explicit request. We do not access any other data on your WordPress installation.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data (API keys)
• Bcrypt hashing for passwords (never stored in plaintext)
• HTTPS (TLS) for all data in transit
• Session-based authentication with HTTP-only cookies
• Role-based access controls separating admin and user capabilities

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Generated articles are retained until you delete them or your account is closed.
